MindworksUK provides psychological services with the community and beyond. Their clients are from diverse communities and we try to help and support where we can - including people who have experienced displacement and sought sanctuary. Being a low cost contribution based service allows for MindworksUK to continue with the vital work they carry out. With funding we are able to offer clients who struggle to finance sessions 12 free sessions. This is key to really reaching those in need.

This national voluntary organisation gives legal, financial and consumer advice on a wide range of matters. In particular they prioritise those: at risk of homelessness, in need of food vouchers, those not safe to remain in their home.

​Care4Calais Wandsworth is a volunteer run organisation that has actively been supporting 300+ refugees (asylum seekers) each week since July 2020. They are totally reliant on the generosity of local people and any money received is spent directly on people in need. They provide food, toiletries, clothing, devices, legal assistance, activities, English lessons and much more.

Battersea Welcomes Refugees (BWR) is an enthusiastic collective from Church of England churches in Battersea, dedicated to securing properties for Syrian and Afghan families' resettlement and supporting local refugee initiatives. They find and prepare homes for families and provide ongoing support to resettled families, offering friendship, advocacy, English conversation classes, employment skills training, and essential supplies, including food boxes.

Just Shelter is a grassroots action group formed by Earlsfield residents to support asylum seekers in the UK and refugees in Northern France. They host local events for asylum seekers in Earlsfield and organise regular trips to Calais and Dunkirk to deliver necessities. Collaborating with partners on-site, their essential services are sustained by a committed volunteer team and ongoing donations and fundraising efforts.

Katherine Low Settlement (KLS) has been a cornerstone of the Battersea community since 1924, dedicated to combating poverty and loneliness while fostering community unity. Its Love to Learn programme specifically aids over 350 refugee children and their families in Wandsworth, focusing on education and well-being.

CARAS is a compassionate community charity in Tooting, dedicated to supporting refugees and asylum-seekers in South-West London. Through diverse group activities, they empower individuals of all ages to enhance English skills, access vital services, forge social connections, and feel a warm welcome. CARAS ensures tailored support for everyone, regardless of complexity.
